We are currently in the cold season, which usually goes from October to May. The rainy season typically starts in May and ends in October. It has been warmer, though, with highs in the mid-60s and lots of sunshine. Our lowest temperature is usually between 49 and 51 degrees Fahrenheit, and our highest temperature at the moment is usually 66 degrees Fahrenheit. This is not very warm for what I'm used to! I am not a big fan of rain, so I am trying to make the most of the cold season by being outside as much as possible and hiking as many volcanoes as I can.
I saw lots and lots of chuchos (street dogs), as usual! I have a beloved chucho friend who lives on my street, Canelo (Cinnamon), and another chucho friend named Chucho, whom I see on my runs. Chucho has protected me from other dogs on my morning runs; he is a real one.
