How was the weather this week?:

The weather this week has been average. It is a little bit colder than it is in Melbourne. It has rained for at least a few minutes every day. There are a lot of sunshowers here. Sunshowers are when rain falls while the sun is shining. I haven't minded the rain at all because it creates a beautiful mist over the mountains! How do you feel about rainy weather?

What animals did I see this week? :

This week I've seen crabs, sand dollars, cows, sheep, black swan, weka (a type of New Zealand bird) and more! There are so many animals running around New Zealand. I read that only 5% of the entire country's population is humans. This means that 95% are animals! There are lots of farms, so cows and sheep are everywhere. When you get to the beaches, animals are easy to find as well. My friend and I were able to feed a weka on the beach! Check out the photo attached.

What was the coolest thing I saw in nature this week?:

The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was a rainbow falling above a herd of sheep in front of the mountains.
