Traveler Bio

Hola todos! My name is Justin Chin, and I'm currently serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica in the Community Economic Development sector. I'm excited to share my journey living here over the next two years.

I was born and raised in Central New Jersey, but I attended Northeastern University in Boston to study International Affairs and Economics, with a minor in Spanish. Throughout my time in college, I developed a passion for engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and became passionate about creating positive, economic change for people with less opportunities. Through studying abroad in London, the United Kingdom, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, along with volunteering with youth development in Boston, I was inspired to continue my professional focus on international affairs and community development. I'm looking forward to seeing all Costa Rica has to offer, including some great hikes, beaches, and food!

Through this journey, I hope to polish my Spanish language skills, problem-solving, and ultimately empower others to achieve their economic goals. Pura Vida!
