I set out to do a challenge for myself as I love to stay active. For an entire day, I went walking to complete a half-marathon (13.1 miles), and finished more than half-marathon by walking 41,208 steps or 18.35 miles in total. That’s more than halfway around Manhattan on foot!
Additionally, my group toured the Summer Palace, which features a central man-made lake. You can explore the water by boat or wander the grounds on foot, eventually climbing to a pagoda's summit for a breathtaking view.
