The weather was mostly sunny with vibrant blue skies! This was particularly noteworthy because my professor, who has been visiting China since the 1980s, mentioned that he typically expects cloudy conditions. He remarked that this was his first time witnessing such clear blue skies and abundant sunshine in Beijing.
During my visit to the Beijing Zoo and Aquarium, I had the opportunity to see a diverse range of wildlife, including sharks, polar bears and pandas.
The aquarium was undoubtedly the highlight for me. Since I am passionate about the ocean, seeing my favorite sea creatures, jellyfish and octopuses, brought me so much joy.
Beyond exploring the city and visiting the zoo, I encountered several stray cats. As a true cat enthusiast, getting the chance to feed them was definitely a highlight of my time in Beijing.
