Hi! My name is Julia, and I’m an elementary school teacher from Queens, New York City. I studied art, elementary education, and teaching English to students who speak other languages. I love painting, traveling, learning about different cultures, and working with students!
This year, I moved from New York to Athens, Greece, where I am a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at Athens College. I’ll be working with elementary school students while experiencing what it is like to live, teach, and learn in another country.
I joined Reach the World because I want to bring you along on my journey! I’ll share what everyday life is like in Greece, from school and food to language, traditions, art, history, and the places I visit. I hope my journey helps you discover more about Greece and inspires you to stay curious about the world around us!
