Every day, I walk from my apartment in the center of the city to my university building down by the waterfront, which is about 1 mile each way. I really enjoy the walk.
Tasmania is 10,500 miles from Hopkinton, so I have travelled very far!
Because I live in the city, I like to walk wherever I need to go. Sometimes I take the bus if my destination is far away.
The most interesting place I visited this week was the office of an organization called CCAMLR (we call it “cam-lar”) in Hobart. CCAMLR is an agreement between many countries in the world to make rules to protect Antarctica. CCAMLR is very important in protecting all the valuable animals and resources in Antarctica.
