I couldn't be happier that I got the opportunity to share my journey to France with all of you! It's been wonderful meeting you and sharing some of my adventures with your class! Our time together on Zoom has absolutely been a highlight of my semester and my experience abroad!
As you all may know, I got the opportunity to come to France because of a special opportunity called the Fulbright program. The Fulbright program gives students, researchers and people interested in teaching English in another country the opportunity to travel abroad, and it helps support their journey by providing them with scholarship money. During my last year of college, I applied for a Fulbright scholarship and found out that I had received one right before I graduated! Fulbright is an amazing program that is recognized around the world, and it gives lots of people opportunities that they would not otherwise have had to live and study in other countries. I know this time of your life might feel like a long way away, but if you go to college and want to study in another country afterwards, you should definitely think about applying!
Whatever method you find to travel, though, I can't recommend studying abroad enough.
