Traveler Bio

Hey there! My name is Joshua Eatman but you can call me Josh. I'm a 20-year-old from the sunny, little beach town of Stuart, Florida. Growing up there meant my life revolved around the ocean—you can usually find me at the beach, in the water, or hunting for seashells. I traded my flip-flops for seasons when I left Florida to study Politics and International Affairs at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. I've always been curious about how our world works, so I took a big leap in the summer of 2024 and went abroad for the first time to study Literature in Sorrento, Italy! Living with a local family there completely opened my eyes to a new way of life. And the adventure didn't stop there! Thanks to the amazing Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, I'm now spending an entire semester in the wonderfully hygge city of Copenhagen, Denmark! I'm here to learn all about their incredible welfare system and their eco-friendly love affair with bikes. I'm so excited to share my journey with you all and can't wait to hear about yours!
