Hej from Copenhagen!

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

Maybe a teacher like my mom. But I also think it would be cool to be an architect and design cool buildings like our new opera house (Det Kongelige Teater).

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

Japan! I really want to see Tokyo, try all the weird candy, and see the places where they make Nintendo games.

What do you know or think about the United States?:

I think it's really big! And you have a lot of different weather and landscapes. I've seen New York and Los Angeles in movies. It seems fun, but also a little crazy. Your portion sizes for food are huge!

What questions do you have for kids in the United States?:
  • Is it true you have to say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning?

  • How old are you when you are allowed to go to the city or to a friend's house by yourself? Here, even small kids like my 7-year-old neighbor walk to the playground alone.

  • What's your favorite holiday? Ours is Sankt Hans Aften in June, where we have a big bonfire and sing songs. Is Halloween as big as it seems in the movies?

  • Do you really get as much homework as they show in the movies?

  • What do you eat for lunch? Do you bring a lunchbox or eat in a cafeteria?
