안녕하세요 an-nyeong-ha-se-yo (Hello)! My name is Jordyn Dossman, and I’m 21 years old. I’m originally from Oakland, California, but growing up in a military family meant moving around quite a bit. I’ve lived in Seattle, Washington; San Diego and San Francisco, California; Brownsville, Texas; and Hampton, Virginia. Of all the places I’ve lived, San Diego and San Francisco were my favorites.
I loved San Francisco so much that I decided to return to the Bay Area for college. I currently attend San Francisco State University, where I study marketing. Growing up in different places sparked my interest in learning about new people and cultures, which is one reason I was excited to study abroad in South Korea. I was fortunate to receive the Gilman-McCain Scholarship, which helped make my semester studying abroad possible.
This semester, I’m living in Seoul and studying at Korea University. I’m excited to explore South Korea, learn Korean, experience the culture, and meet people from around the world. I can’t wait to share my adventures with you throughout the school year!
