Bangkok Art and Culture Centre

This past weekend, I took an independent trip to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Visiting art expos and events is one of my favorite pastimes, so I visited the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC).

This sculpture was one of the coolest things I saw at the BAAC
I took different angles, because it looks different depending on how you look at it
I wonder how this was made
This artists expo displayed paintings that tackled human nature and politicians/society, and this one made me think of corruption
It's interesting what is given color and detail in this painting of a courtroom
Often, there is a label or placard next to each piece of art that states the artists' name, the name of the piece and some background information
Realist paintings like this one try to convey the true look of the subject, such as conveying age through the look of the skin
I loved this artist's pieces because I could see the many details that went into the piece
