Visiting My Citi Local Host in Tel Aviv

What is your family like?:

I am married with three kids. I have an 11-year-old, a nine-year-old, and a four-year-old. We are very family-oriented. We like to meet often with our extended family members, who are mostly all in Israel, too.

How do you get around?:

I drive myself. I have to plan accordingly to get to work on time because traffic gets very bad in the mornings! My home is only 20 kilometers away from Tel Aviv, but it takes me one hour, sometimes an hour and a half, to get to Tel Aviv. Thankfully, traffic isn't as bad going home after work.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

I prefer professional or business casual attire, unless I'm playing sports.

What do you like to do in your free time?:

I'm all about sports. I like to watch and play football (which you would call soccer). I play football twice a week. I also enjoy reading books and spending time with my family.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Hebrew, English and a little bit of Spanish because my wife is Argentinian. Shalom is Hebrew for "hello." Hola is Spanish for "hello."

Do you have pets?:

My wife and I adopted a dog when we were still students. That was about 15 years ago. Our kids have grown up with this dog.

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

Traveling is another hobby of mine. I've been to Mexico and most of Central and South America. After being a part of the army here in Israel, people usually travel, so I also went backpacking across Europe at that time in my life.
