I prefer a baked plantain, but the cook fried it at the restaurant. Nonetheless, it was delicious!
After breakfast, we took a nice walk around the beach area of A Coruña. We had gorgeous weather and no rain! There were some people swimming at the beach even if the water was pretty cold. It was the first time for some of my friends to visit A Coruña, so we took group pictures to create memories with each other. My hair became messy because there was a lot of wind by the beach.
About two minutes from the beach, the stadium of A Riazor was getting filled with people attending the match. Many were RC Deportivo fans, and I was told Celta Vigo is one of Deportivo's biggest competitors. My friend and I bought some merchandise to support RC Deportivo. I got a cap because I like to them. Some of the others bought scarfs.
It was quite easy to enter the stadium. It wasn't as disorganized as I expected it to be. The Galicians formed clear lines, we got our bags checked and then we went upstairs to our assigned seats. The tickets were rather inexpensive (only 20 euros!), and we got some really good seats. The match started about two minutes after we sat down. We noticed a few fans of Celta Vigo who proudly represented the team with their jerseys, scarfs and flag. It was a brave thing to do amongst so many RC Deportivo fans.
The match was very intense. Depsite being Division B, both teams were equally matched, and they attacked and defended very well. There were so many close-calls of scoring a goal. One of RC Deportivo players, Pablo Vázquez, scored a goal. When this happened, many of the RC Deportivo fans stood up, clapped and chanted his name. It was really fun to do! Unfortunately, the goal was disqualifed and RC Deportivo lost the goal.
