Hey everyone, I am Jenna. I grew up in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, right by Hemlock Lake. I hiked, kayaked and spent as much time as possible outside. I lived with my parents and had one older sister. She is married, and they have a one-year-old daughter. At home, my family currently has a dog named Max and a cat named Kitkat.

This past May, I graduated from Villanova University right outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I graduated with a bachelor's in computer engineering with minors in business, medical engineering and engineering. During my time, I applied for a Fulbright scholarship to obtain my master's degree in Finland. A Fulbright scholarship is when you can either teach, study or research in another country at one of their universities. I applied for a Fulbright study grant through the Fulbright Finland Foundation to obtain my master's in Sociotechnical Systems and Sustainability Transitions at Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT). This is a social science master's degree focused on understanding the changes occurring within the environment due to climate change, how we can best address them to current policies, how to utilize current technologies to solve these issues and how to adapt them to communities best.
