How far did I travel this week?:

The farthest I traveled this week was to Lantau Island, where I visited the famous Big Buddha. To get there, I took the MTR for about 30 minutes and then rode a bus for another 20 minutes. The journey was well worth it because I got to see one of Hong Kong's most famous landmarks and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. It was a great adventure and an exciting way to explore more of Hong Kong!

How far have I traveled on this journey so far?:

So far, the farthest I have traveled during my journey is to Shenzhen, China, which is just across the border from Hong Kong. To visit Shenzhen, I needed a visa to enter China. Fortunately, Shenzhen offers a special option that allows some visitors to apply for a visa when they arrive at the border, which is what I did. It was an exciting experience because it was my first time crossing from Hong Kong into mainland China, and my first time exploring a completely different city.

How did I get around this week?:

This week, I mostly used the MTR, Hong Kong's train system, to get around. The MTR is one of the fastest and most convenient ways to travel around the city. I used it to get to classes, visit different neighborhoods and travel to some of the places I explored this week.
