Hey! My name is Jalina, and I will be spending the next 3.5 months sailing across the globe. Though Semester at Sea, I have the opportunity to spend my semester abroad in 11 different countries, exploring four different continents! I am excited to not only learn about so many different cultures but also to share my experiences with the other participants and students like you online.
More about me: I‘m 20 years old and grew up in a small village in northern Germany. I started studying International Relations and Translation in 2025, and am exited to soon depart for my semester abroad with Semester at Sea. I‘m interested in languages, cultures, and different educational systems. I‘m hoping to graduate from my current university next year to start a second degree in Social Work.
