My Host Mom!

The public transportation here is very efficient and can get you to your destination really quickly! It does get pretty packed on the metro subways, though, so sometimes, you feel like sardines!

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

"Me gusta ropa cómoda y casual."

I realized that people over here like to dress up even when going to school or work! Many people will wear business casual clothes, trench coats, blazers, sweaters and boots here! Athleisure wear does not really exist here, and I feel like most people here do not wear leggings or sweatshirts, unless they are going to the gym. At first, I thought I was not going to like dressing up every day, but I feel like I have gotten used to it, and I actually really enjoy planning out my outfits!

What do you like to do in your free time?:

"Naturaleza y salir con los amigos."

Retiro Park is probably the most well-known nature spot in Madrid. Other than that, they have small city parks here and there.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

"Hablo español e inglés. Hola!"

Many of my housemates and I have Spanish minors, so Mama Moya tries to talk to us in Spanish all the time. I am not going to lie, sometimes, I cannot understand her, but she knows my "puzzled-look" face and repeats it in English if needed.

Do you have pets?:

"Tengo tres bordes collie."

There are no dogs in the apartment living with us, but a friend of hers takes care of her dogs for her.
