As an avid sports fan, I also read a lot of articles about my favorite baseball team, the Cleveland Indians. When I'm exploring Can Tho, I attempt to read all of the signs written in Vietnamese.
This week, I played tennis twice, soccer with my students and basketball with my students. There is a tennis court across the street from my house, and my roommate and I joined a tennis team with middle-aged men. We always play doubles and it's a lot of fun! Soccer is extremely popular among young men in Can Tho. Most soccer matches are on smaller fields (about a quarter of the size of a normal soccer field). I also enjoyed playing pick-up basketball with my students the other day.
I explored Can Tho's famous night market by the river, a popular spot for locals and tourists. There is a wide variety of clothing and food in this bustling part of town. If you have the chance to visit Can Tho, you should definitely check out the night market!
