I traveled around 20–30 miles this week, using trains as well as my own two feet!
Since arriving in Japan, I have traveled hundreds of miles between cities and local areas, whether that is on foot or by using the train. I also rode in a car a couple times!
I mostly used trains and my own feet to get around. Public transportation is the best form of transportation in Japan.
The most interesting place I visited this week was going to Osaka. Osaka is the second biggest city in Japan, and there is always so much to do in Osaka!
Traveling around Japan has started to feel more natural for me. This week I explored new train stations, new areas of my town and walked through busy shopping streets. Even short trips in Japan can feel like an adventure because there is always something new to see.
Also, riding trains around Japan has become one of my favorite parts of traveling, here, because train travel is super fast, convenient, and it allows me to see more of everything here.
