Hi guys! My name is Ingrid Lee. I am 22 years old and from Hong Kong, a special administrative region of China. Growing up in Hong Kong, I loved eating Cantonese food, exploring cafes, and hanging out with my friends. For university, I left my small city and pursued higher education in Berkeley, California, where I study Marine Science at UC Berkeley. One class I’ve taken is biological oceanography, which is the study of marine organisms and how they interact with processes in the ocean. Excited to learn more about a different culture and how they study marine life abroad, I applied to National Taiwan University in Taipei to further my studies. I will be in Taipei soon, taking classes to improve my math skills for science and study coral reef ecology. I am eager to share my journey with everyone and cannot wait to speak to you all!
