My journey started on February 22nd, so I've actually only been in Korea for a little over two months so far! Even so, I've had countless unforgettable adventures, made new friends, and created treasured memories in such a short time. I hope you had fun exploring Korea and its wonderful culture alongside me! Let's look back at the time we've had so far in Korea.

When I first came here, I was super nervous and felt lost; my plane landed near midnight, and I had no Korean cash (nor any data, so I couldn't really use my phone). I took an hour-long bus ride into a city that I've never set foot in before, but I was lucky to find someone who went to Yonsei to guide me. I got to my dorm, met my roommate, who I would see many times for the next few months, and then had a simple dinner from a convenience store.

Of course, I will admit that the first few weeks of being in Seoul had their challenges. I didn't speak any Korean at all, so the language barrier got in my way several times. I also had a bit of trouble finding friends at first because I came to Korea knowing practically nobody else. Because of these two things, I did experience a little fear in going out and exploring.

However, I quickly overcame this.
