Getting Around in Accra, Ghana!

Uber prices also vary, depending on how far you're going and if there is traffic. For example, if I take an Uber to the Accra mall, my normal fee is around ten cedis. If there is heavy traffic, the fee may go up to fifteen cedis. And watch out for those tricksters! Sometimes taxi drivers like to take a long route to get a higher fee, so it's always good to know the route so you won't get taken advantage of.

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

When I tried the trotro for the first time, I felt very anxious. The minibus is so small that at each stop, almost everyone has to get off to let the passenger sitting off the bus at their own stop.

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

The origin of the word "trotros" is from the Ga language. The word "tro" means three pence (pence being the penny coins used during Ghana's colonial times).
