French Architecture and Infrastructure

France's well-connected transportation system has allowed me to see so much of this country during my time here.

Other important components of French infrastructure are the ocean ports in the south and the west of the country. Many of these ports rely on river and canal systems to transport goods from one side of the country to another. One of the largest port cities near me is Marseilles. The Canal du Midi runs from Toulouse down to the Mediterranean and passes through the middle of Béziers. This canal was constructed in the 1600s and is one of the oldest canals in Europe still in use today.

I am in love with the architecture and transportation here! Based on the photos, which architectural style is your favorite? If you were to move to France, would the architecture influence which region to live in? Have you ever ridden a train before?

A bientôt and au revoir! Talk to you soon! Goodbye!
