I have definitely enjoyed the experience of living in a bigger city, even though it can be scary at first to do in a new place (especially where you don't speak the language fluently). In terms of French, I was so nervous before I got here to speak to people out of fear of messing up or not knowing a word. However, though it can be frustrating sometimes to not know how to get your point across, I have found that 99% of the time, people want to help and can give you tips for how to say what you are trying to. The people in Paris are so much nicer than most people say they are! Everyone has been super helpful and friendly.
Overall, I hope you can see that studying abroad is fun, interesting and exciting. I learned a lot about myself, and I now know that I want to live in Europe again later in life (maybe in Paris!). I hope you can also see that there are many, many possibilities for things to do abroad. You can take courses, do an internship, find work or just travel. I did a little bit of everything, which I think was perfect for me. There are so many opportunities and networks to support you while studying abroad, if you ever decide you want to explore the idea. There were definitely times where it was a bit difficult or scary, but in my opinion, everything new and important is like that, and that's what makes it fun and worth it. I absolutely loved my experience, and I hope that everyone considers spending some sort of time abroad in the future!
Merci pour votre temps, profitez bien du lycée, et à la prochaine ! Au revoir !
