In the afternoon, they are excited to go home and eat their macaroni and cheese, or pasta al formaggio. They giggle, laugh and sometimes cry too. Watching them reminds me that even though people around the world may eat different foods or live in different ways, we are all very similar inside.
Sometimes it can feel a little scary to go somewhere new, even if it is just a new park or a new town. But it is important to remember that there are kind people everywhere, and that a smile means the same thing in every language.
