Farewell to Flynn

At the time, when I was sitting in your desks that is, I didn't know what my "Big Thing" was. I knew that I loved art, I wanted to see the world and I wanted to help people. As I grew up, things became complicated (they always do), but I kept that fire in my belly no matter how difficult things got. I painted and studied and wrote until, eventually, I started researching the "Big Things" that could change the world.

Whatever that fire is for you, always keep it burning. You are all meant to do "Big Things" in your own ways. Maybe you love hair or cars or horses or painting or mud or ENZYMES (wink, wink). Stick with it! Life will get complicated (it always does), but you'll get through. Curiousity and hope are the two most powerful things in this life, and even more powerful when combined with kindness and generosity. Who knows, maybe these "Big Things" will take you around the world on a Fulbright scholarship when you get older.

Anyway, that's all for motivational speaches. I've got some magical enzymes to go look at. Wish me luck.

You will all go on to do great things, I'm sure of it. Perhaps you'll even have a cute little blog about it :)
