Hi! My name is Faith Lanham, and I am originally from West Virginia but currently attend the University of Denver in Colorado. Growing up, I became interested in history, government, and the ways that decisions made by leaders can affect our everyday lives. Moving across the country for college gave me the chance to experience a new part of the United States and made me even more excited to explore new places and cultures.
At the University of Denver, I study Political Science and Public Policy, with a particular interest in education policy and educational equity. My interests have given me opportunities to work on research projects, become involved in political and community organizations, and learn more about how public policy is created and put into practice.
This fall, I am traveling across the Atlantic to London, England, where I will study at Queen Mary University of London and intern with a Member of the British Parliament. I am excited to learn more about British politics and culture, explore London’s neighborhoods and historic sites, experience life as a student in another country, and travel to new places along the way. I cannot wait to share my adventures with you and hear about what you are learning throughout the school year!
