Buenas! Hello! My name is Erika Spivack and I’m a 26-year-old from Tucson, Arizona. Travel and cultural immersion have been my biggest passions for as long as I can remember. I began traveling at a young age doing cross country RV road trips with my grandparents. International travel came a bit later in life, during high school, when I moved to Madrid, Spain for two summers to live with a friend. In college, I studied abroad and worked as an au pair in Italy.
Immediately following my graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I studied Human Development & Family Studies and Psychology, I joined the Peace Corps! I served 2.5 years as a Youth Development Volunteer in Belize and the Dominican Republic.
This leads me to my latest adventure in Colombia! I will spend the next year working as an English Teaching Assistant through the Fulbright Program. My passion for travel has developed into an immense love of the Spanish language and culture. I can’t wait to share my experiences in Colombia with you all and bring forth all that I have learned from my time abroad!
