This has been an awesome summer/fall for me, and I hope you have all had a wonderful winter/spring over at Sunset Beach Elementary as well. I have enjoyed getting to know you all through our video calls and the Padlet, and I have learned a lot by writing these posts and trying to answer your questions. I hope you have all learned some things, too! I think one of the biggest things I have learned is the importance of finding connections with people and of learning the history when getting to know a place. What are the histories of the places you come from? Maybe when I come back to Hawaiʻi next year I will be able to visit you all at Sunset Beach and I can learn about all those histories from you.
