The great outdoors!

While I was in Kinloch, I hiked the W2K trail; the lake behind me is Lake Taupō
In this particular section in Lake Taupō, the Waikato River is quite calm
This part of the Waikato River, at Huka Falls, is moving quite quickly!
I visited Craters of the Moon while in Lake Taupō, which is a very active geyser field!
In Rotorua, I saw Lake Tarawera; "Tarawera" means "burnt spear," and many sections of the shore (including Māori villages) were covered by a volcanic eruption in the 19th century
We walked around some steaming hot springs in Rotorua; the whole area smells like rotten eggs, because of the sulfur
There are so many beautiful walking trails in Auckland, like this one, which is passed by a scintillating river
Muriwai Beach on the west side of Te Ika a Māui is a very popular surf spot!
