What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

Korean is the main language spoken at school, but English and some Chinese are part of the curriculum as well. "Hello" in Korean is Annyeonghasaeyo. 

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Some common kids' names are Do-yoon ("Doh-yoon"), Ha-yoon ("Hah-yoon"), Ha-joon ("Hah-joon") and Seo-yeon ("Suh-yuhn"). 

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

Students in middle school study algebra, geometry, social science, Korean, English and science as their core classes. The classes that differ from school to school are music, physical education, ethics, art, Korean history and home economics. 

What is your homework like?:

Homework is very difficult with assignments from every class in a workbook or longer projects and papers when you get to high school. 

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

Most students actually attend secondary school after the main school day. They may go to an English tutoring center, music tutoring center or be expected to self-study at home. In their free time, Korean students often play basketball, soccer or computer games.

Korean pop artists are some of the most popular celebrities among Korean students.
