Jeju Island

How does it use its environment to survive?:

The hallabong is a winter fruit so it is usually harvested during November and December. Since they are grown during winter time, they are kept in greenhouses and farmers have to maintain a warm temperature for the hallabong to grow and be ready for harvest in the winter months.

What can harm this creature or plant? Are we worried about it?:

The hallabong needs to be watched carefully by farmers. It needs a lot of sun so Jeju Island is the ideal place to grow this type of fruit. On Jeju Island there is a lot of sun, so it can be grown without a problem, but if you tried to grow a hallabong tree in a place without much sun, the orange would not have the signature sweet taste.
