Yosemite National Park: A World Heritage Site

Introduction:

Yosemite National Park is a huge national park in the state of California that is very popular among hikers around the world. Recognized as a World Heritage Site, this park has a beautiful waterfall and is renowned for having very old mountains and rare trees. The Tunnel View and the El Capitan rock formation dominates the scenic beauty of the place and is generally the most popular spot among tourists. I was completely awestruck at the Tunnel View; the beautiful green landscape and the clear blue sky took my breath away. 

What makes this environment special or different?:

This park is famous for housing rare varieties of trees that grow here because the soil is rocky and it supports a different form of vegetation in this region. Besides, this place is well known for the rivers, wetlands, granite rocks, waterfalls and glaciers canyons it houses. An exquisite work of nature, the Yosemite National Park hosts some of the most diverse natural features in it making it one of the most beautiful places in the world. 

What parts of this environment help people to live here?:

This place is inhabited by Native Americans who live in a village named after the Ahwahnee tribe which is located next to the Yosemite Valley visitor center.
