This week, I actually stayed in Brno! Because of my nightly commitments to concerts, it was a bit difficult to arrange any travels, and so my friends came to me instead. Travel in the Czech Republic is incredibly easy, as there are trains and buses to practically every small village.
I've traveled back and forth to Prague three times this trip, which takes about three and a half hours by bus or train. The Czech Republic is much smaller than the U.S. My friend Amelia told me that about 125 Czech Republics could fit into the U.S.! Once I have less concert commitments in Brno, I'm excited to see every corner of the country.
I've mostly been walking around this week, trying to soak up the sunshine as much as possible. The biggest mode of public transportation here are street trams, called šalina. Once it gets colder, I will definitely be tramming around, but for now, I'm enjoying living in such a walkable city!
