We joke around on air a lot and take requests from people that are up late.
I mostly read news articles, in addition to hosting my own radio show, I'm also a news editor at 4zzz. Basically I look for local and international news items that I think are interesting, edit them down to two or three sentences and then read them on air. There's a lot of us that do this for the station, but I'm in charge of the Tuesday morning slot. The most interesting story this week was the one about a bunch of dead fish in the Australian "Darling River" near Sydney, making a big problem for the whole city.
I didn't play any games or sports this week, or most weeks for that matter. Usually I'm too busy with school, work, or the radio station for any free time. I do hope to one day go to a professional rugby game. The enthusiastic crowds remind me of football games at home.
There isn't much to report. It's been hot, and I'm getting ready to start school again, so I've been going back and forth between home, school, and the radio station. Going back to school would be annoying if it weren't for the A/C at school that makes me want to spend all day here.
