Finland is a forest country. The national tree is the birch, and it's impossible to visit Finland without seeing lots of birch trees in the forests! Birches have become my favorite trees.

In August, I took a two-hour ferry ride from Helsinki, Finland to Tallinn, Estonia. It felt like I had traveled back to medieval times. Most buildings were hundreds of years old in Tallinn!
