Hi! My name is Corey, and I am spending the upcoming year in Taiwan as a Fulbright scholar, teaching English to local elementary school students. I am excited to not only explore the local Taiwanese culture but also to share it with students back in the U.S. and explore other parts of Southeast Asia.
I grew up in a suburb in northern New Jersey, and my goal is to become a physician-academic in the future. I am very interested in comparative healthcare systems and global health policy, both of which are niches I hope to learn more about while abroad. I studied biology and healthcare economics at the University of Pennsylvania, from which I recently graduated. I am so excited to share more about my journey and take you along for what will be a life-changing experience!
