A Conversation with Vic

Introduction:

Although I have lived in Salvador for some time now, no one knows the city better than an actual soteropolitano, or a native to Salvador. So, I asked my friend some questions about her daily life. The photos were all taken during Vic's time in Rio.

What is your full name?:

My name is Victória Lane Ferreira Silva.

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

I live in Salvador, Bahia, in a neighborhood called Engenho Velho de Brotas, which is in the center of Salvador.

What is your family like?:

I live with my parents and my younger brother. I have a sister who is already married and has a daughter. I have a huge family, with many uncles, aunts and cousins. We are very close and we like to always be together.

How do you get around?:

Normally, I use the bus to get around during the week to go to school or other places. My father has a car, so when I go out with him I don't need to take the bus. When it's necessary I take an Uber car service.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

I am basic when it comes to fashion. I like to see things on the internet and buy them, but I am not always following trends. I live in a warm, beach city so I wear cool clothing. I don't like anything too fancy.
