Swedish is the main language spoken in Sweden, but most people also speak English. Sweden also recognizes five historical minority languages: Finnish, Sámi, Meänkieli, Romani Chib and Yiddish. Swedish Sign Language is also recognized and protected.
Sweden uses the Swedish Krona (kr). Sweden is also one of the most cashless countries in the world! This means many stores, restaurants, and public transportation systems accept cards or mobile payment apps such as Swish instead of cash.
My friends and I even visited the Tumba Paper Mill Museum, which teaches visitors about Sweden's history of making paper and money.

The best meal I had was Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes and lingonberries! We also made apple pie for dessert. We made everything from scratch except for the lingonberries. The meatballs and potatoes are made with a special gravy that makes the meal taste a little sweeter than the meatballs I usually eat back home, but it was just as yummy!
