Meeting María

Introduction:

María is an eleven-year-old student in A Coruña and I also work with María's aunt at my school. María lives in the city, and has lived in Spain her entire life. Let's learn more about Maria's daily life through an interview!

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

When I go to school, I don't usually have breakfast because I like to sleep in and I don't have time to eat in the morning. However, when I don't have school, I like to have Cola Cao, which is similar to Nesquick with cookies--usually Nutella cookies!

For lunch, when I go to school, I eat the menu of the school in the lunchroom. Normally, they have two plates to choose from. Normally, it is meat, chicken, or pasta. If you don't like those options, you can eat a salad. My favorite school lunch is sushi.

For dinner, I like sushi or burgers. I'm not usually that hungry at dinner!

What is your house like?:

I live in a flat, or apartment in the city. Almost all of the walls are white inside. It has a big living room, which goes through into the kitchen without a door. Additionally, there is my mom's room and then my room! My flat has two bathrooms and a study room, as well.

What chores do you have at home?:

My chores are to clean around the house.

What jobs do your parents have?:

My mom is a teacher.
