Ourense has had some amazing weather so far! It has been sunny the entire week, with temperatures in the 60s. I think it's the perfect weather for jeans and a t-shirt.
That said, don't be fooled! Galicia, this region of Spain, is well known for constant rain. Starting very soon, it will rain every single day. An important part of my to-do list is to buy an umbrella!
Ourense is a small city of about 100,000 inhabitants. Washington D.C. has seven times more people! However, even though Ourense is small, it still feels like a city. One key part of a city is the pigeons. There are pigeons everywhere! I have to be careful leaving my food outside, or a pigeon would steal it from me within seconds!
