This week, I went to Gothenburg, Sweden's second-largest city, by high-speed train. It took 3.5 hours and covered about 300 miles.
It's hard to know how many miles I have traveled! I know that I live 4,400 miles away from home, walk an average of four to six miles per day and commute about 20 miles per day when I go to school. That's over 150 miles of walking and 600 miles on public transportation in the last month!
Sweden has great public transportation. This week alone, I've taken commuter trains, buses, subways, trams and even a ferry!
I spent the day at a Swedish elementary school, where I attended Swedish and English classes and had lunch with both a Year Four and a Year Five class.
In the next couple of weeks, I'll be headed to Vienna, Austria and Krakow, Poland.
