Ramen

Hot water or thinner broth is then added, and the dish is topped with green onion, meat if ordered, cheese and garlic. There are so many unique and creative ways to make ramen, but the dish always includes noodles in a broth with some kind of topping.

Is this food connected to the local environment? How?:

Tomato ramen is especially connected to the environment since it relies on the freshness of the tomato for its flavor. This often requires the use of locally-grown produce. In my area, tomatoes are grown in a small greenhouse to be used in the local restaurant. All ramen relies on fresh spices and meats. Without high-quality, local ingredients, ramen can fall flat.
