I also got a sandwich and some nice, warm tea. I took my lunch to a table and looked out over the palace gardens as I ate. It was really peaceful. There was a long stretch of green grass surrounded by trees, and just beyond that were flowers and gardens that you could walk through. As I was eating, there were also a lot of huge pigeons walking around. The birds here are crazy, but they're kind of funny to watch sometimes--that they try to steal your food.
It was a nice sunny day, so I decided to walk back to school. It was only about a 30-minute walk, and there was a park on the way back. The trees were starting to change colors, so it was very beautiful. I also passed a couple of little markets. The markets here are really awesome! They are often great places to explore artwork from local artists and to try new foods.
