¡Hola! My name is Brooke. I am 22 years old, grew up in Darien, Connecticut, and just graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont. In college, I studied Neuroscience and Spanish while also competing on the track and field team, so I love to run and be active.
I have been learning Spanish since I was in 5th grade. During college, I had the chance to live in Madrid, Spain, with a host family. I went to school there and took all of my classes in Spanish! It was exciting to learn about a new country, meet new people, and try new foods. Now I am returning to Spain to teach English to elementary school students through a U.S. Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship. I wanted to go to Spain to teach English because I love learning, helping others, and exploring new places. I can't wait to share my adventures with you!
When I am not teaching, I love spending time outside. Some of my favorite activities are hiking, rock climbing, and skiing. My college was close to a ski mountain, so I got to ski and snowboard during the winter. I also enjoy line dancing because it is a fun way to learn something new and make new friends. I am excited to show you what my life is like in Spain. I hope you will enjoy learning about the places I visit, the people I meet, and the fun adventures we can share together!
