Hey! My name is Brian Laboissonniere. I've lived in Coventry, Rhode Island for most of my life, where I enjoy meeting up with my friends to play basketball and other games, as well as going fishing when the weather's nice. A few years ago, I started attending Boston College in Massachusetts to study computer science.
This semester, I'm studying at Waseda University, a school located towards the center of Tokyo, Japan, as a part of a student exchange program. As a part of this program, me, along with about ten others from my school, will be staying in Japan to study from March until July. Here I'll be taking different courses in the Japanese language, in addition to other courses. I've studied Japanese a bit back at home at Boston College, so I'm really looking forward to being able to continue that right in Tokyo! I'm also looking forward to taking in the rich cultural blend of Tokyo, a city where sites of modern and historical Japan sit side-by-side!
I'm excited to share my journey with you all!
