I stayed close to home this week!
I traveled as much as I could despite the COVID-19 pandemic causing me to cancel plans to go to the South Island, Australia and Fiji. My friends and I decided to make the best of our time (post-lockdown) to travel to Piha, Taupo, Auckland, Rotorua, Wellington and Ngāruawāhia. The distance covers a good portion of the North Island.
I mainly got around using the bus system, as it was easy to use and I got a student discount.
The most interesting place I visited was the Waitomo Glowworm caves!
