The weather this week was windy and cloudy, which is a sign that it's finally winter in Bahrain. My first months here were very hot and sunny (most days were over 100 degrees), so I'm enjoying this weather a lot. However, this weather is freezing for Bahrainis, so I see lots of people wearing scarves and hats.
I live in the city, so I don't see many types of animals. However, there are many stray cats here. There is a group of kittens that lives outside my university, and the best part of my day is petting them and watching them play.
As I mentioned, I live in the city, so I don't see much nature. Because of that, I was very excited when I saw a group of people riding horses down my street!
The most exciting news from this week is that it rained on Saturday! Bahrain doesn't get much rain, and this is only the second time it has rained since I arrived in September.
