你好(Hi)! I'm Blanche Zou, a New York City native. Growing up in a diverse and fast-paced environment had taught me to appreciate different cultures and the convenience of city life. I'm now a junior student studying business management with a minor in information systems at Stony Brook University.
When I entered college, I noticed that many other students around me are traveling around the world, which is something I hadn't had much chance to do yet. Although I enjoy hearing about others' stories, I wish that I could share stories about my experiences at another place in the world. I realize that I want to see more of the world and more of other cultures, such as the language, food, traditions, and ways of life. Inspired to see more, I began researching study abroad programs and scholarships that are available. You will find me constantly sending out emails to my university about studying abroad and writing essays in hopes of receiving scholarships. Thankfully, everything went the way I wanted, and from there I booked a plane ticket.
That's what had led me to Hong Kong, a beautiful city on the other side of the world. In Hong Kong, I'm not only expanding my knowledge on international business but also engaging deeply with the city's unique culture. I’m excited to meet and connect with new people from all over the globe during this trip, and I’m happy to share this journey of personal growth with you!
